Peakhurst Social Cafe

Located at 64 Lorraine Street, Peakhurst, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 Used to be called Cheat Day but now called Social Cafe. I don’t know if same owner. 🤷‍♀️ This is a wonderful hole in the wall cafe and well worth the visit. I had the Portuguese Chicken Burger and chips combo with a chocolate milkshake instead of a can of drink. It was so delicious 😋. The Peri Peri sauce really added to the overall flavour. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I asked for the burger to be without cheese and mayo and that was no problem. On weekdays it’s only takeaway service with a few tables and small stools provided in the small foyer next to the cafe. On weekends, there are tables and chairs provided inside. Not sure why they don’t allow this throughout the whole week. Overall, I really liked this place and would definitely recommend it. Thumbs Up!! 👍👍👍

This burger is a masterpiece! The bun is perfectly golden and topped with a beautiful mix of sesame seeds, adding a nice crunch. The double patties are juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, complemented by fresh lettuce and melted cheese that tie it all together. It’s a towering creation that’s both visually stunning and delicious. Definitely worth every bite—highly recommended!”

Just had the chicken sausage & egg roll and it was delicious., topped with fried onions on a soft hotdog roll. Great coffee and service.

One of the best burger I ever had. Patty was fresh and filling. Sause used on burger complemented the taste. My go to place for burger. And not to mention the service- outstanding 🤍

Chicken waffles: 6/7 Their chicken is super super well cooked, juicy to the point where it’ll splash when cutting into it. The skin is also crispy, and the whole thing we’ll seasoned. Waffles are ok - cinnamon style, perhaps a bit dense and doughnutty. Mi goreng toastie: 4/7 Well cooked, but doesn’t taste as savoury as I expected for something as unhealthy as this. Might as well commit to the unhealthiness! Iced chocolate: 2/7 This was awful, chocolate tasted super artificial syrup-y and was overall just extremely sweet. Would not recommend.
