I ordered the spicy prawn pasta, and the taste was great. However, it would be even better with the addition of some fresh vegetables to balance the nutrition and taste. The portion size is on the smaller side, so if you have a good appetite, it might not be enough to leave you feeling full.

This place is the best place in Randwick for breakfast. The staff are so friendly and courteous. The food is delicious and very good sized portions. Love the ambient atmosphere out the back also. Always going to be a favourite of mine.

Wanted to write about a specific interaction today. I attend this cafe almost every week with someone I support. Today this person was feeling especially vulnerable. OCD spiralled into straight up anxiety about the food that was prepared. I explained the situation to the staff, stating we weren't making any accusations, just that we needed some reassurance that safe for practices were being followed. The chef graciously came to the table to provide that reassurance in a manner that was friendly, professional, and not judgemental or defensive which is exactly what was needed. The person who I support was then able to eat his food. I commend the staff for helping us out without creating any scene or further anxiety, and I know we'll be back next week as usual. :-)
